When ECU Cloning Is Needed
Common reasons for ECU cloning include:
The original ECU is damaged, dead or non-communicative
Water ingress, burnt tracks, or internal component failure
Replacement ECU sourced from another vehicle
Immobiliser mismatched, preventing the engine from starting.
Fault codes caused by corrupt or unreadable EEPROM/processor data
If your ECU shows any of these symptoms, cloning is the most reliable solution.
